Chart-topping K-pop and J-pop stars, hot Asian male models, celebrated designers — all will gather in Singapore next week.
Opening on 18 April, Men's Fashion Week Singapore returns after having made waves last year for being the first-ever male-centric fashion event in Asia.
And viewers can certainly expect more this year as the highly anticipated festival is marrying music and fashion in a way that has never been done before.
Besides head-turning fashion shows from a whopping total of 19 labels around the world, top J-Pop and K-Pop singers and bands will also take centrestage over the span of five days.
The long list of Asian stars slated to perform include Japan's Yuna Ito and Kajimi Yasuke, Korean heartthrob Se7en, Korean-American rock band Royal Pirates, music trio 8Eight, and YouTube sensations Sungha Jung and Megan Lee.
Renowned UK label Spencer Hart and internationally-acclaimed Korean brand Songzio will kickstart the fashion extravaganza. Other big names to look out for include Japan's Diet Butcher Slim Skin, Singapore's very own Reckless Ericka, and the young but established Richard Chai, who proved his talent at Marc Jacobs before venturing out to set up his own label.
Men's Fashion Week Singapore 2012 will run from 18 to 22 April at Marina Bay Sands, Convention Hall F. Shows will also be streamed live on www.fideproductions.com.
