Baek Ji-young to release new album

29 Apr – After her last studio album, "Pitta" in 2011, ballad queen Baek Ji-young will finally be making her comeback.

According to Koreaboo website, on 25 April, her agency, WS Entertainment announced that the mini-album would be released in May and the title song would be a dance track.

They stated, "The last time Ji-young released a dance album was 2009's "Ego", which included her collaboration with Tae-cyeon, "My Ear's Candy". Since then Baek Ji-young has been doing many ballad soundtracks for dramas and her albums were consistent with ballad songs as well. This new album is a chance to show something different, and expectations are high."

WS Entertainment continued saying that they are still keeping the concept of the album a secret but promised fans that the singer has been working hard to make sure that every song will make a perfect album."

Meanwhile, the singer is currently one of the training coaches for MNet's "Voice Korea".
