Jae-joong's fans donate to charity again

7 July – The charitable fans of Kim Jae-joong have done it again, and this time they donated a total of USD 1,500 (app. KRW 1.7 million) to the U.S.-based international children charity known as Operation Smile.

According to Dbsknights, Kim Jae-joong's international fan site, Prince JJ, donated the money to be used to pay for the surgeries of six children. Prince JJ's representative commented, "Just like how Jae-joong's smiles bring joy to us all, we hope that this donation will bring joy to these children and their loved ones."

The fan club also planned to donate another USD 1,500 in the future to Operation Smile in Singapore, which would help an additional six children.

Established in 1987, Operation Smile is a non-profit medical organisation founded by Bill and Kathy Magee. To date, they have provided over 150,000 reconstructive surgeries on children and young adults in over 60 countries.
