Lee Min-ho's plastic surgery: "Just a rumour"

26 Aug – After his relationship with actress Park Min-young was revealed, "City Hunter" actor Lee Min-ho has been swept up in a controversy that claims he had previously undergone plastic surgery.

According to Soompi website, the rumours emerged after a photo began circulating on the internet, in which Lee was seen posing with doctors at a plastic surgery clinic (watermarked "Star Line Plastic Surgery Clinic").

The fact that celebrities often take pictures with doctors after receiving service from a particular clinic, made the photo even more suspicious and Netizens immediately jumped to the conclusion that Lee Min-ho had undergone a procedure.

The star's agency, StarHaus, promptly dismissed the rumours, saying, "He took that picture three to four years ago because he's close friends with the doctors. He has never done any plastic surgery".

"Two years ago, he was caught up in a plastic surgery controversy because of this picture. The fact that people are making an issue out of this again is absolutely preposterous."

A friend of Lee Min-ho also stated, "I don't know where all the interest is coming from since this picture was already made a big issue a few years ago. Just because he took a photo with plastic surgeons doesn't mean he actually had surgery. As I recall, he took that photo after he accompanied a friend to the clinic. We never imagined this picture would later be interpreted as Lee Min-ho having plastic surgery. I'm afraid he would be so disappointed after hearing this rumour."
