It's official. Miley Cyrus has joined the cast of "Two and a Half Men" for a short guest arc.

CBS announced on Monday that the singer and actress will star as Missi, an old family friend of Walden (Ashton Kutcher's character), who comes to visit for a week.

The network confirmed recent reports that Miley's character will develop a relationship with Jake (Angus T. Jones), when he comes home from the Army.

It was not immediately clear when Miley's two-episode arc will air, but the tenth season of the popular sitcom will air on Thursday, September 27 at 8:30 ET/PT on CBS.

Miley's film "LOL," co-starring Ashton's ex, Demi Moore, was recently released on DVD.
