There's a good reason why a video of the Ohio State University marching band's halftime show has managed nearly 1 million views in just 24 hours: It might just be the most impressive marching band rendition we've ever seen.

The clip -- taken at this past weekend's Ohio State University football game against the University of Nebraska -- channels a variety of video games, from Tetris and Super Mario Bros. to Zelda, Pokémon and Halo.

What's perhaps most remarkable about the nearly nine-minute performance is marching bands only have one week to learn new songs and choreography. All of this, of course, and still go to class.

Be sure to stay with the video until at least the six-minute mark for the running horse. The group certainly lives up to its name as the "The Best Damn Band in the Land."
