SBS′ The Laws of the Jungle 2 has fallen into a dilemma over its time slot.
The Laws of the Jungle′s first season, which debuted in October of last year, featured Kim Byung Man, Ricky Kim, Hwang Kwang Hee, and Noh Woo Jin and was filmed in Africa. After the first season enjoyed much attention, the second season was green-lighted and the show made a part of SBS′ sunday lineup.
The first air date of the new season is May 6, but the time slot has not yet been designated. Despite holding a press conference for the show on April 27, a time slot had not yet been decided on.
Though the air date is listed as 6 pm for the day, a representative for SBS said, "The broadcast time has been changed to 5 pm. We′re thinking of switching its time slot with Running Man, but nothing has been decided on."
The dilemma for SBS reveals how seriously it is considering the important Sunday night time slot in terms of its viewership ratings.
During the press conference it was revealed things were more serious in the new season than its first. In particular, the addition of Choo Sung Hoon and Park Si Eun is promising to show a new side to the variety program.
