Tominaga Ai and Shioya Shun in a relationship

25 Apr – Japanese model Tominaga Ai has admitted that she is currently in a relationship with actor Shioya Shun, after they were caught on a date by a weekly tabloid.

According to Tokyo Hive, Tominaga spilled the beans on her relationship with Shioya at a news programme on Fuji TV saying:

"We are good friends, and yes, we are dating."

Weekly tabloid FRIDAY had earlier reported that the two were spotted dating at a park, enjoying the cherry blossom, after having dinner with movie director Iwai Shunji, earlier this month. While holding hands, the two later walked towards the direction of the 'Paccchigi' star's apartment.

The two were believed to have met during a charity event for the Tohoku Earthquake.

When asked about her aforementioned date, she shyly replied; "Our hands only touched for an instant."

Tominaga was previously married with a Japanese pastry chef based in Paris in 2004. They had a son together but they divorced in April 2009. She was later rumoured to be attached with Utada Hikaru's ex-husband, Kiriya Kazuki, although it was denied by her agency, who said that their relationship was as 'good friends with family commitments'.
