Wonder Girls is set to bring the wonder to Asia this fall.

The group announced the details of its upcoming Asia concert tour on August 23.

The girls will launch their tour in Singapore on September 8 at the Resorts World Convention Centre Compass Ballroom, before heading over to the Stadium Negara in Malaysia on October 13, the Tennis Indoor Senayan in Indonesia on November 3 and a still-to-be-determined date sometime in mid November in Thailand and Vietnam.

Each concert venue will hold 4,000 to 5,000 seats making it a large-scale concert series.

The Wonder Girls has performed in America and in Asia before, but the upcoming tour will be the group’s first independent Asia concert tour, raising the anticipation both for fans and the group members themselves.

A representative for JYP Entertainment said, “We are planning performances that recognizes and pays respects to each Asian nation’s culture and characteristics. With our meticulous planning, we will fully show the Wonder Girls’ unique concert skills as a girl group.”

Already, the competition for tickets in places like Malaysia is said to be fierce, while the news of the Wonder Girls holding a concert in Vietnam is causing a ripple as very few K-Pop stars have held performances there previously.
